The Challenge

Achieve incredibly ambitious growth plans for F&B, whilst changing perceptions about F&B at Butlin’s.

What did we do?

  • Supported the Director of F&B to develop and deliver two x 5 year growth strategies for F&B at Butlin’s.
  • Created a portfolio of concepts for each Butlin’s resort including bars, buffets, grab & go, value dining, premium dining and gastro pubs, and all associated menus, POS and promotional material.
  • Implemented, communicated and managed team incentive programmes to support the operation.
  • Developed best practice operation manuals for each branded venue.
  • Produced team training materials
  • Created content for F&B team conferences, meeting and events

The Outcome

Budget beating annual growth culminating in an additional £17m per annum to F&B revenue, a radically improved perception of the food and drink offering at Butlin’s, and a long term partnership of over 18 years!
